Karen's wedding was almost two years in the making. Our collaboration began on the second quarter of 2016 and it was clear to her what she wanted to wear on her wedding day. What she wanted to wear was not a surprise for yours truly as Karen and this designer of yours have been friends and even classmates way back in high school. Karen was the type of girl every boy in school was attracted to. She was beautiful, had a beautiful body (for someone in her teens), beautiful skin, extremely talented and most of all, Karen was this sweet, kind and ideal girlfriend that every young man wants to have. She won a major school pageant, she was active in most of our school's extra-curricular activities and was also an excellent student athlete (she was a varsity player in volleyball). She managed her time as an athlete as well as her academics altogether by not failing any of the subjects in school while doing all of these extra-curricular activites on her free time. Karen and I have a lot of things in common and one of which is dancing that's why we ended up doing cheerleading and dance competitions together. We also hung out a lot in school and shared so many secrets. When yours truly became known for my talent in fashion design, Karen and our other best friend (who also became our eventual bride) made a promise that this designer will be the one to make their wedding gowns when they get married. 14 years later, it was a dream fulfilled.

Karen being an achiever wanted better career opportunities and fortunately, she found herself a very good job in Bangkok, Thailand working in a hospital as one of the nursing staff. She considered Bangkok as her new home and in fact, she never had a hard time adjusting and made quite a number of new friends right away that shared with her common interests. Of course, it was not hard for someone like her to make new friends as Karen was the sociable type and always sees the good in every person. She had quite a fun life in Bangkok and it became meaningful when she met Troy. Troy was the athletic jock and has a very tough exterior, however, Troy inside is a very sensible kind of person who knows how to make a life for himself, knows how to have fun, and of course, a competent and goal-oriented person. Karen and Troy are like this two matching lock and keys and are extremely perfect for each other. What I noticed is that they both help each other improve and grow as a person which is evident as Karen pursued crossfit and fitness with Troy and they work out a lot together. The sweetest part is that they both supported each other's interests regardless of what it was. Both of them are what we can say an ideal couple and you can see both in their eyes and through their body language how passionate and in love they are with each other.

For their wedding day, since it was going to be a beach wedding, Karen wanted something sultry, elegant and sophisticated. A dress that accentuated her sexy, well-shaped curves and her beautiful tan. The dress that this designer designed was a spaghetti strapped dress in a serpentine cut, with a very low neckline and low back, using a lace material in baroque patterns with lace patchworks of the same pattern as well. The bride nonetheless looks extremely stunning and she was working it while walking the aisle and during the pre and post ceremony photo shoot. Karen was a natural during these shoots and it seems like she has not forgotten her roots in modeling and pageantry as she gave her best angles and emotions to the photographer.

Karen and Troy both worked so hard for their wedding day. As a guest and a witness to their wedding celebration, all that yours truly can say is that the wedding was perfect. All the details were carefully planned from the venue, the dress design, the flowers, the concept of the wedding video, the set-up which was extremely beautiful, and the ceremony as well which started in the afternoon and ended during the sunset. Boracay was the perfect venue of their wedding and the over-all concept of the ceremony reflected both of the couple's personalities. The couple made it extremely memorable for all of those who came specially for the couple's guests who flew all the way from Australia, Thailand and from Karen's families and friends from Manila, Singapore, Cebu and Iligan City. The food at the reception venue was very well selected and the desserts was to die for. This designer forgot to mention that booze that overflowed that night was something that the guests extremely enjoyed.
This designer could not be any more happier for his bestfriend to find the right man to love her for the rest of her life. She deserves it and of course Troy is also very lucky to have Karen in his life. Both shared the right kind of ideals, mindset and perspective and it was as if destiny brought them together. Their partnership was sort of effortless and no difficult circumstance can get in the way for this couple's love for each other.
